My Quote of the Day

This morning, while I was tying my shoes (a random time for coming up with a quote), I thought of an interesting quotation. I don't know if it exists or not, but here it is.

"I wish life was like a word document- you could undo your mistakes, paste your good times in bad times, and shape your future in ultimate certainty."
-by me.

Tell me how you like it!!!!!!! :)

Imaginary Visit from Death

Hi!

My dog is 6 months and she interferes with everything. A naughty puppy...
You know how everyone says that dogs cannot eat chocolate? Like how its deadly and cause severe damage to their bodies and digestive systems?

Well my uncle had come over for a few days from India, and as he was here for a limited time period, decided to stock up on a variety of American delicacies not usually acquired back in India.
Amongst these were pasta sauces, macaroni, dresses, shoes and other accessories for his daughters and plenty of Toblerone chocolate. This chocolate, in the process of being packed was lying very openly in our hardwood floor on very low elevation. In other words, anyone and everyone would have easy access to mooch on it.

... And that's exactly what happened. I was cooking omelettes for everyone in the kitchen while my dog was prancing around the house. My dad noticed first that the little puppy was doing her round of mischieviousness for the day. We edged closer and noticed the long triangular tube of yellow. I screamed and began to cry, thinking that she was now a guinea pig for "death."

Our pup just sat there, unaware and ultimately oblivious to her chaotic surroundings. She looked at us confusingly, cocking her head. Everyone was rather flustered by our current situation. She had digested two entire pieces of "Toblerone with honey and almonds." This was her 'forbidden' feast for the morning.

We finally decided on phoning the vet in the midst of desperation. Apparently, the smallness of our dog was a negative. It appeared that she was safe, but she was still in the danger zone it was an obligation to keep a keen eye on her the entire day.

Talk to y'all later...

Funny Happenings

Hi guys,

Today I took my dog out to the park. We first went to a regular park (not a dog park). This is because since my puppy is only five months, she doesn't really run around and interact with other dogs that well. She doesn't usually get too much exercise. So I decided to make her run a bit at an open park on a windy, cold (brrr) Sunday morning.
We went for a couple of rounds, me running-her following. Then the third time, when we were coming back, she raced faster than me and into the other open park.
A lot of guys were playing soccer on that field. She barked loudly and rammed straight into them. She just jumped around, playing with THEIR soccer ball.
It was hilarious.

K bye

Cooking

Hi everyone,

I LOVE cooking. I have a couple of recipes that I would like to share with y'all.

-All my own-

Since I created them myself, there aren't too many :P lol

KKK

Breakfast---

Banana Bread Cupcakes.

What u need

-all purpose flour
-bananas (duh) lol
-no water necessary
-baking soda
-butter and sugar (lots of it)
-egg
-teeny meeny bit of salt
-some vanilla flavoring (trust me every recipe has it)
-oil or extra butter (for moisturizing the molds)
-stove
-spatula
-regular spoons
-cooking bowl (pot)
-cupcake molds (oven bake)
-a working oven
-a hungry stomach (these will fill you up :)

Advice:
-Don't lick of the mix until the end, because anyways, counting the amounts on the spoon and bowls there's going to be plenty of loose batter to digest.
-If you follow advice #1, you should get to make more than 12 even cupcakes.
-The oldest bananas in the house make for the best banana bread.
-Set your alarm for baking. Sometimes its better to put the alarms in batches. Like first put a 20 minute one, then another 20 minute one, then a 10, and if its still not done, then put a five, and finally one more five if necessary.

How to make:
-Remember to preheat the oven to 350 degrees before cooking :P
-Gather about 4 or 5 bananas and crush them. {You can choose whether to crush 'em with your hands or with a spatula (hands crush faster usually) but I don't usually do that.}
-Crush them till they're nearly water (no lumps whatsoever). Then put a 1/3 cup scoop of butter into a empty (clean) pot for the stove to melt. Once it is completely melted, dump it into the potpourri of bananas.
-Measure some sugar (depends on if you desire a sugar rush or not... I would suggest about 2/3 of sugar although most recipes suggest a whole cup). Pour it in to the banana mix.
-A teaspoon of vanilla flavoring should be plenty for this basic recipe. Just pour it in, make sure you do that wholeheartedly. rofl...
-Crack the egg on a spacious countertop for best results. As soon as you see one long dent into the egg (or numerous numbers), let the gooey contents flow into the banana pot.
-Sprinkle a teaspoon of baking soda as well as a pinch of salt into the pot. Whatever you think is a pinch will work.
-1 and one half cups of all purpose flour should be plenty. Deposit into the pot (as usual.)
-Now, at last... hopefully you haven't used up too much time in prep that you forgot that the oven is on preheat (it happened to me :D) Quickly coat your cupcake molds with a drop of oil or butter so it is easy to scoop the baked treat out. Then, POUR!!!
-In about an hour (approximations allowed) take out the molds.
-Stuff yourself...

K that's all 4 now. thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy your cupcakes!

Philosophy

Hi again,

This is my second post (yay)!
Sorry... okay back to topic.
My friends and I talk about philosophy a LOT over email. We have these little updates that we send each other.
All right, well here goes:
almost every morning, I wake up and have a philosophy fresh in my mind. One morning in summer of 2009, I woke up and remembered a weird dream that I'd had. It was almost prophetic.

It was a dream containing all of the people from my 2008/2009 english class, and we were going on a hike. A couple of people and I stood near the veranda gazing at the beautiful scenery. It was absolutely a breathtaking sight. The mountains were misty blue and the sky was a crisp baby blue with the ivory colored clouds shifting their positions in the sky. And the green grass and trees sparkling with fresh-fallen dew. The deer and rabbits hopping around playfully. And there was a narrow river with rushing water surrounded by symmetrical stones, pebbles and rocks. I was solemn. Not necessarily enjoying the sight, just standing there. And then I said something odd, incomprehensible... "Fire will melt the water and make it turn into ice." As I said this, the gorgeous blank white clouds turned gray with anger and the blue sky faded to camouflage the clouds. The rainbow that was there disappeared, and the sun, gleaming at the river, hid as the water began to mush together, mush together, till it solidified into ice.

I then woke up. I was so confused. The entire morning I thought about it. I tried to figure out what my strange, dreamy prophecy could have meant. I came up with this mathematical reasoning for it... You know how a+b=c? Well I thought of how that meant that a=c-b. And then I put each of the parts of the prophecy into labels. Like fire would be H (heat), Water=w and Ice=I.
So the equation would be: H+W=I. therefore, H=I-W. That means that Water will make the ice blaze and make it turn to fire.
I have no idea. The mathematical equation didn't turn out excellently. Oh well. I mean... I makes sense!!!???

Well yea thanks for reading. Hope it wasn't too long. :P

bye,

P.S. Comment if you have the time! Thanx.

Hello!!!

Hi,

My name is Anonymous (partly because I'm not planning on telling you my real name.) :P
This is my blog, if you've not figured that out. I couldn't think of anything to call this post, and "Introduction" sounded cheesy, so I decided to type something rather universal (yet still lame).

I created this blog because I want to share my thoughts with everyone but make it inclusive rather than exclusive. I wanted people to be able to have open discussions online without the "Reply All" button.

I LOVE philosophy, poetry, cooking-those little things (random things). That's what this blog is going to mainly be about. But feel free to talk about other pieces of info, cause as the blog title says, these are "Random Thoughts". I hope these topics don't bore you.

I do not know anything about blogs, this is my first one and I am a newbie at this online stuff.

Well hope I get some replies.

Sincerely,

Anonymous :)
